We highly value your requests for music to be played at events. Communication with us (in advance) regarding what types of music you would like played and specific tracks/artists you would/would not like played helps us to provide the style of entertainment you desire.
We have many types of music available, including:
- Billboard Hot 100 (Top 40) singles
- Hip-hop & R&B
- Rap
- Pop
- Modern rock
- Soft rock
- Dance / Techno
- A variety of latin singles and middle eastern music
Clean tracks
All of our tracks are clean, and in many cases are simply radio edits of songs with additional editing by us. This means that there will be no inappropriate content or bad words played at your event.
Guest participation
We can be active or inactive DJs (meaning we can announce songs, give commentary, and talk to guests) depending on your preferences. We can also take requests from guests at the dance. Either way, we will do our best to “read the crowd” and play music that will get guests on the dance floor and having a good time.
Icebreakers
We have a variety of timeless “icebreakers”, which are audience participation dance songs. These include tracks such as the Macarena, Electric slide, Locomotion, YMCA, Cha cha slide, Conga line, and Limbo.
Techno
Our library includes techno dance tracks by artists such as Cascada (e.g. Everytime We Touch, Miracle, Last Christmas), Ozone (Dragostea Din Tei), Paul Oakenfold (Starry Eyed Surprise, Ready Steady Go), DHT (Listen To Your Heart), and Basshunter (Dota), among others.
Hip-hop, modern dance music
More hip-hop style dance tracks include those by Unk (2 Step, Walk It Out) and Soulja Boy (Crank Dat Soulja Boy). We are constantly browsing the internet and YouTube, listening to the radio, and reading the weekly Billboard charts. In addition, we talk to people within the event’s target demographic to see what music is popular and what we should play at the dance.
Planning a corporate event or low-key party with your family? We have soft rock and pop music that is appropriate for many situations. Our library includes thousands of tracks by hundreds of artists, so if there is something you would like played, just ask.
